GUSU started out in 2009 when Steve Hill saw the need for a retail shop that offers an assortment of SUPs to the beach communities along the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida. Once organized, GUSU quickly established its presence with countless satisfied customers happy with their boards.

Every season GUSU and our team riders search high and low for the perfect board and in 2011 we thought to ourselves, why not create our own boards? If we manufacture our own boards, we can ensure that each board is constructed using the best technology and materials and is fine–tuned for ultimate performance. GUSU has partnered with a beach rental business from day one and we have been renting out paddleboards for years. Through feedback from our wonderful customers, we know exactly what works and what doesn’t. Armed with this knowledge, we paired up with the East Coast Master Shaper Craig Cronin and GUSU boards were born.
